The programme involves a preparatory stage, an academic part, specialisation modules, project streams (entrepreneurial and consulting), a leadership stream, electives, an offsite module in Kamchatka, and an international module.

Preparatory stage

Before starting classes, students will get a list of suggested reading and access to online courses from Harvard Business School, which are aimed at immersing in business education and filling knowledge gaps.

Harvard Orientation Courses cover three topics: Financial Modeling in Excel, Fundamentals of Statistics, and Fundamentals of Financial Accounting.

Academic knowledge

The learning journey includes 11 modules and is aimed at filling basic knowledge gaps or updating existing knowledge about the principles of business organisation, as well as at developing managerial competencies and working with big data.

Specialisation

At this stage, students will acquire in-depth knowledge in one of two specialisations: (1) Advanced Management for those interested in a better understanding of the human aspect in managing an organisation; and (2) Accounting for Managers for those who want to understand how new technologies and data processing tools can drive better decision making.

Project streams

Students will choose a project in the area of interests either jointly with the consulting lab, or entrepreneurial lab.

Leadership development stream

A comprehensive course on leadership development will help you understand individual leadership experiences, assess personal strengths and weaknesses, develop skills in a series of games and simulations, get feedback, and become a more effective manager.

Electives

The portfolio of electives is formed in accordance with the class profile and student’s industries. We select the most relevant areas among the open programmes of the School and give the opportunity to get to know students from other programmes, helping to expand the professional network.

Retreat in Kamchatka

The module in Kamchatka is a seven-day programme that includes intellectual and physical ascent. By combining these two components, participants will try to transfer their experience of psychosomatic overcoming (climbing the volcanoes of Kamchatka) to group project work.

International module

The programme includes an international module. The country that hosts the module may vary. Presumably, the module will focus on supply chain management, or sustainable development, or digital transformation, or entrepreneurship. It offers the opportunity to communicate with MBA students around the world.
