Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO is a centre of expertise and attraction for those who stake on Russia and work in emerging markets.
The business school includes institutes and research centres that study topical problems in various economic sectors, deliver consulting services, develop educational programmes, and also contribute to the formation of the school's intellectual agenda as a whole.
For the first time, SKOLKOVO Business School entered the Financial Times Top-50 ranking for corporate programmes and was the only school from Eastern Europe.
Two projects of the School at once took the spotlight in the EFMD Competition. The SKOLKOVO Practicum programme “Development of Entrepreneurship in Russia” won the 2020 EFMD Excellence in Practice Award in the special category “Ecosystem Development”. The programme “Museum. The Power of Place” for the V. Potanin Foundation was a finalist in the same category.
The School was awarded the EQUIS EFMD accreditation – one of the most prestigious international accreditations granted to 1% of the leading international business schools.
The School is an official member of the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM), which unites 30 of the world’s leading business schools, and a member of the Global Business School Network (GBSN).
The Campus hosted the UNICON corporate programme leaders’ conference, which attracted 78 participants from 53 business schools around the world.
The School headed the list of the People’s Rating of Russian MBA programmes based on the ratings of graduates of the programme.

The business case “Monocities: A Long Journey Of Transformation” won the prestigious 2018 EFMD Excellence In Practice award in the special category “Ecosystem Development”. This is the first time that an educational programme of a Russian business school was awarded a gold medal in a competition of the world’s most prestigious educational institutions.
The joint degree programme HKUST-SKOLKOVO EMBA for Eurasia was launched in collaboration with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology business school.
The School became a finalist of the 2017 EFMD Excellence In Practice Award in the category “Ecosystem Development” with its corporate programme “Strategy for the Creation and Development of Endowment Funds” for the V. Potanin Foundation.
SKOLKOVO Centre for Digital Transformation and SKOLKOVO Executive Coaching, Career and Development Centre were launched.
The joint case of SKOLKOVO-IMD “ABBYY: The Digitisation of Language and Text” was among the top ten finalists of the 23rd CEEMAN Case Writing Competition, held jointly with Emerald Group Publishing.
The SKOLKOVO Centre for Economic Research and Healthcare Management was launched.
An agreement was signed with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology business school on collaboration in the field of joint educational programmes, the development of academic potential and academic staff exchange.
The School won its first international awards. Its corporate programme for ROSATOM State Corporation was awarded the 2016 EFMD Excellence In Practice silver medal in the category “Organisational Development”. The Unilever Production Cluster In Tula: Zero Non-Hazardous Waste To Landfill in 10 Months Case won first prize in the EFMD Case Writing Competition in the Sustainable Development nomination.
The EFMD Excellence In Practice (EiP) competition emphasised effective learning and development partnerships.
The Centre for Expertise In The Field Of Sustainable Development was established and launched.
The first Alumni Convention was held. This event will later become an annual event celebrated by the entire community of the School.
