Alex specialises in top management education. He is moderator and mentor during strategic workshops. His teaching focuses on Business Innovation, Strategic Thinking and Consulting Tools. He has vast experience teaching executive audiences using innovative techniques such as experimental learning, business simulation and scenario planning.
Alex has taught at the executive education level on different programmes for Airports of Regions, AIFC, VEB.RF, Evraz, KPMG, MTS, Rosatom, Rusal, RZhD, TransContainer, Sheremetyevo International Airport, Sibur, X5 Retail Group and more. The quality of his teaching has been widely recognised by clients and peers.
Alex’s research focuses on Business Ethics and Sustainable Development. During the past year, Alex has invested in studies of major companies’ ethics codes and values, and various approaches to business ethics. He is currently developing a hybrid online and offline course in business ethics for executives.
Alex boasts a solid background in management and economics, and holds a specialist degree in Economics and Business Administration from Moscow Academy of Water Transport. Prior to joining Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO in 2015, Alex was Development Manager of management consulting firm Oliver Wyman in Russia and the CIS (2009-13) and Leader of an Advisory Group of Marsh McLennan Companies (MMC) in Russia and the CIS (2006-09). Previously, he also worked as Risk Manager at Aeroflot - Russian Airlines (2001-06) and Head of Key Account Management departments at a number of Russian banks (1997-2001).
