    Marina Veldanova is Professor of Business Practice, Executive Coach and Director of the Healthcare Development Centre at Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO. She is the author of more than 80 scientific and business publications, a member of the Russian Association of Pharmaceutical Marketing and a frequent speaker at business conferences. 

    Marina graduated with honours from Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University as a pediatrician, and specialised in endocrinology. She also holds a PhD in Medicine.

    Marina began her business career in marketing in 1993 with Boehringer Ingelheim International GmbH (Germany and Austria). She then graduated with honours in Marketing at the International Academy of Marketing and Management (MAARMAN), and studied Marketing at the Management Centre Europe (MCE) in Belgium.

    In 2000, Marina became Head of the Marketing Department at Berlin-Chemie (Germany and Italy). She later studied at the International Institute of Management, giving numerous training sessions on developing and teaching staff, leaders and teams.

    Marina went on to become CEO of Polpharma SA (Poland) in 2006. After the company became a part of AKRIKHIN, one of the largest enterprises of finished medicines in Russia, she also held the position of Vice President for Marketing and Sales.

    In 2008, Marina graduated from the International Executive Programme at INSEAD (France). Since 2009, she has worked as CEO of Ipsen Pharma LLC (France) in Russia. Between 2014 and 2018, she managed the cluster of Russia and CIS companies in parallel as SVP. 

    Marina took courses in Executive Coaching and Leaders as Teachers at Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO in 2018, and a year later began working at the business school. She is involved with top management and executive coaching, MBA and EMBA programmes, B2B projects, strategic consulting and research publications. Her area of interest is strategic marketing, leadership and team development.
