    Биография

    Elena is a Professor of Business Practice and Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at the SKOLKOVO School of Management.

    Elena has over 20 years of practical experience, which includes more than 100 successfully implemented projects in comprehensive diagnostics and enhancement of corporate governance and sustainable development systems, board performance evaluation, ESG transformation, as well as consulting on responsible investment and non-financial reporting.

    Elena is the academic director of the educational program “Sustainable Development: From Strategy to Tactics” at the SKOLKOVO School of Management and co-author of the book “Sustainable Development: How to Ensure Business Growth and Create Long-Term Value.” She also teaches corporate governance in EMBA programs and conducts research on board of directors’ activities.

    Elena graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Lomonosov Moscow State University and holds a Candidate of Economic Sciences degree (PhD equivalent), with a dissertation on “Corporate Governance Risks in the Context of Restructuring.” She also holds a certificate in Corporate Governance from the Schulich School of Business at York University (Canada) and a Certificate in Company Direction from the UK Institute of Directors (IoD).
