Dmitry Medvedev
 Dmitry Medvedev is the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, the
Chairman of the International Advisory Board of the Moscow School of
Management SKOLKOVO. Born in Leningrad September 14, 1965, he graduated
from Leningrad State University (Law Department) in 1987 as a Doctor of
Philosophy (Law) and a Associate Professor. From 1990-1999 he was a
staff lecturer for St. Petersburg State University. From 1990-1995 he
was an advisor to the Leningrad City Council Chairman, an expert of St.
Petersburg City Hall Committee on foreign affairs. From 1999, he was a
Deputy Chief of the RF Government Staff. From 1999-2000 he was Deputy
Chief of the Russian Federation's Presidential Executive Office. As of
2000, he became the First Deputy Chief of the RF Presidential Executive
Office. In addition, Medvedev served on OJSC "Gazprom" as Board
Chairman from 2000-2001. From 2001, as Vice-Chairman of the Board of
OJSC "Gazprom. Since June 2002 as Board Chairman of OJSC "Gazprom".
From October 2003, he has been the Chief of the RF Presidential
Executive Office. In November 2005, he was appointed RF Government

Vladimir Mau
 Vladimir Mau is Rector of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and also the Vice
Chairman of the International Advisory Board of the Moscow School of
Management, SKOLKOVO. He is also Economist Emeritus of the Russian
Federation, a Member of the Council on Science, Technology and
Education under the President of the Russian Federation, and a Member
of the Russian Academy of Natural Science. From 1992 to 1993, he worked
as an advisor to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian
Federation. From 1997 to 2002, he was Director of the Working Center
for Economic Reform. Dr Mau is also a Monographer, and has published
over 20 books and study materials in Russia and the UK and over 400
brochures and articles in Russian, English, French, German and Italian.

Noubar Afeyan
 Noubar Afeyan, PhD, is Managing Partner and CEO of
Flagship Ventures. A technologist, entrepreneur and venture capitalist,
Noubar has founded and helped build 15 successful life science and
technology startups during the past two decades. In addition, he is a
Senior Lecturer at MIT in both the Sloan School of Management and the
Biological Engineering Department. Noubar has authored numerous
scientific publications as well as patents, and earned his Ph.D. in
Biochemical Engineering from MIT in 1987. In 1999 Noubar founded
Flagship Ventures, an early stage venture capital and entrepreneurship
firm. Prior to that, he participated in creating and launching six
highly successful new ventures: PerSeptive Biosystems, ChemGenics
Pharmaceuticals, Celera Genomics, Antigenics, Color Kinetics and EXACT
Sciences. He currently serves as a Director for Flagship-founded
ventures Adnexus Therapeutics, Affinnova, BG Medicine, Codon Devices,
Ensemble Discovery, Genstruct, Helicos BioSciences, T2 Biosystems and
LS9. He also serves on a number of academic, advisory and non-profit

Ajay Banga
 Ajay Banga is a President and Chief Executive Officer,
MasterCard Worldwide. Ajay Banga is president and chief executive
officer of MasterCard, as well as a member of the board of directors. He
also leads the company's executive committee. Mr. Banga joined
MasterCard as president and chief operating officer in late August 2009.
In April 2010, he was named President and CEO, effective July 1, 2010.
Before joining MasterCard, Mr. Banga served as Chief Executive Officer
of Citigroup’s Asia Pacific Region. In that role, he was responsible for
all of the company’s business lines in the region, including
institutional banking, alternative investments, wealth management,
consumer banking, and credit cards. He was also a member of Citi’s
senior leadership and executive committees. Mr. Banga joined Citigroup
in 1996 and served in a variety of positions of increasing
responsibility. These included chairman and chief executive officer of
the International Global Consumer Group; president of Retail Banking
North America; business head for CitiFinancial and the U.S. Consumer
Assets Division; and, division executive for the consumer bank in
Central/Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India. Prior to
Citigroup, Mr. Banga spent 13 years with Nestle, India, where he held a
variety of assignments spanning sales, marketing, and general
management. He also spent two years at Pepsico, where he was
instrumental in launching Pepsico’s international fast food franchises
in India as the economy liberalized. Mr. Banga currently serves on the
board of directors of Kraft Foods and on the board of trustees of the
Asia Society. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and The
Economic Club of New York, as well as a fellow of the Foreign Policy
Association. He is also a member of the Financial Services Roundtable.
Mr. Banga has a keen interest in social development issues and has
served on the boards of trustees of Enterprise Community Partners and
the National Urban League and was vice chairman of the board of trustees
for the New York Hall of Science. He was also a director for the
Council for Economic Education and business sponsor of Citi's African
heritage network, NYC. In addition, from 2005 to mid-2009, he
spearheaded Citi's strategy in the microfinance sector around the world.
Mr. Banga received a B.A. in economics from Delhi University where he
graduated with honors. He is also an alumnus of the Indian Institute of
Management, Ahmedabad.

Brady W. Dougan

Brady W. Dougan is the Chief Executive Officer of Credit Suisse
Group and Credit Suisse. He is also a member of the Executive Boards of
Credit Suisse Group and Credit Suisse. He is based in Zurich. Before
assuming his current responsibilities in May 2007, Mr. Dougan served as
CEO of the Credit Suisse Investment Bank and its predecessor firm,
Credit Suisse First Boston, from July 2004. He also served as CEO of
Credit Suisse Americas, with oversight of Investment Banking, Private
Banking and Asset Management in the region. Mr. Dougan started his
career in the Derivatives group at Bankers Trust Company, and he joined
Credit Suisse First Boston in 1990. He was named Head of the Equities
division in 1996, and Global Head of Securities in 2001. From 2002 to
July 2004, he served as Co-President of Institutional Services until
his appointment to the role of CEO of the Investment Bank in 2004. Mr.

John V. Faraci

John V. Faraci was named Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of International Paper on Nov. 1, 2003. He served previously in
the positions of president, as well as executive vice president and
chief financial officer. He is located at the company’s headquarters in
Memphis, Tennessee. John joined International Paper in 1974 as a
financial analyst and held various financial, product management,
planning and general management positions in the industrial packaging,
consumer packaging, wood products and forest resources businesses. He
served also as vice president and general manager of Masonite; vice
president of the coated paper, bristols and converting papers business;
and chief executive officer and managing director of Carter Holt Harvey
(a former International Paper majority-owned forest products company in
New Zealand). John was named executive vice president and chief
financial officer of International Paper in 1999. Faraci is a member of
International Paper’s board of directors. He also serves on the board
of United Technologies Corp. and the American Enterprise Institute. He
is a member of the Business Round Table, the Citigroup International
Advisory Board and the Denison University Board of Trustees. John is
also a member of the American Forest & Paper Association’s Board of
Directors and served as chairman in 2008. John earned a Bachelor of
Science degree in history and economics from Denison University in
Granville, Ohio, and a Master’s degree in business administration from
the University of Michigan. He and his wife, Heath, have two daughters,
Caitlin and Gretchen.

Andrey Fursenko

Andrey Fursenko is the Minister of Education and Science of the
Russian Federation. He was born on July 17th, 1949 in Leningrad. In
1971, he graduated from Leningrad State University of A. Zhdanov. He
received his Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics in 1990. From 1971 till
1991 he held the positions of junior research assistant, laboratory
head, Deputy Director of Science and the principle researcher at the
Ioffe Institute of Physics and Engineering of the USSR Academy of
Sciences (Leningrad). From 1991-1993, he was Vice-President of JSC
"Center for Advanced Technologies and Developments" in St. Petersburg.
From 1994-2001, Andrey Fursenko was the Director General of the
Regional Fund for Scientific and Technical Development of St.
Petersburg. Since 2000 he has been the Chairman of the "North-West"
Center of Strategic Developments. From 2001-2002, he was the Deputy to
the RF Minister of Industry, Science and Technologies. From June 2002,
he was the First Deputy to the Minister of Industry, Science and
Technologies. From December 2003, he held the position of Acting
Minister of Industry, Science and Technologies of the Russian

Andrew Gould

Andrew Gould is Chairman and CEO of Schlumberger
Limited, a position he has held since February 2003. Prior to this, Mr.
Gould was President and Chief Operating Officer, Schlumberger Limited,
Executive Vice President Oilfield Services, President of Schlumberger
Wireline and Testing, and President of Sedco Forex. He previously held a
series of financial and management in Asia, Europe and the United
States. Mr. Gould is a member of the boards of directors of Schlumberger
Limited and of Rio Tinto plc. He serves on the commercialization
advisory board of Imperial College, London. He is a member of the
Advisory Board of the King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals,
Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and of the Board of Trustees of The King Abdullah
University of Science and Technology in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He is a
member of the United States National Petroleum Council. Gould joined
Schlumberger in 1975 in Paris, after working for Ernst & Young where
he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He received his degree in
economic history from the University of Wales. He holds an honorary
Doctorate in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is an
honorary Fellow of Cardiff University.

Herman Gref is Chairman of the Board and CEO of Sberbank.
Minister for Economic Development and Trade for the Russian Federation
in 2000-2007. He was born in Panfilovo village of Pavlodar region of
Kazakh SSR February, 8, 1964. In 1990, he graduated from Omsk State
University as a lawyer. From 1981-1982 he was a lawyer for the
agricultural bureau of Irtysh district of Pavlodar region. From
1982-1984, he served in the Soviet Army. From 1984-1985, he was a

University. From 1990-1990 he was a lecturer for the Law Department of

lawyer for the Committee on Economic Development and Property of
Petrodvorets Administration in St. Petersburg. 1992-1992 - head of
Petrodvorets District Agency of St. Petersburg Administration Property
Committee. From 1992-1994, he served as Chairman of the Property
Committee and deputy head of Petrodvorets District Administration in
St. Petersburg. From 1994-1997, he was the deputy chairman and director
of the Real Estate Department as well as the first deputy chairman of
the St. Petersburg Administration City Property Committee. From
1997-1998, he was the Vice-Governor - Chairman of the St. Petersburg
Administration City Property Committee. From 1998-1998, he was a member
of the College Board of the RF State Property Ministry. From 1998-2000,
he was the first deputy of the RF State Property Minister. Since 2000,
Gref has been the Minister for Economic Development and Trade of the
Russian Federation. He was appointed Minister for Economic Development

Lee Kuan Yew

First Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore and one of the authors of the “Singapore Miracle” Lee Kuan Yew was born in Singapore in 1923, educated at Raffles College, Singapore, then Cambridge, England, graduating in 1949. He was called to the Bar, Middle Temple, London in 1950. He practiced law in Singapore where he was adviser to many trade unions. In 1954, he was a founder of the People's Action Party and held the position of Secretary General until 1992 except for a brief period in 1957. He was elected a member of Legislative Assembly in 1955. In 1959 he became Singapore's Prime Minister, serving successive terms until he resigned in November 1990, when he was appointed Senior Minister by Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong. He was re-appointed again after the 1991, 1997 and 2001 general elections. |
Dennis Nally

Dennis Nally is Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers
International Ltd., a network of membership firms that act locally in
countries around the world. Mr. Nally most recently served as
Chairman and Senior Partner of the US Firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers
LLP having first been elected to those roles in 2002 and elected to
a second term in 2006. Nally joined PricewaterhouseCoopers immediately
after he graduated from WMU in 1974 and became a partner in 1985.
Having moved from the firm’s Detroit office to New York, he served in
the National Office Accounting Services Group in New York for three
years, before moving to Dayton as the Partner-in-Charge of PWC office
there. Nally has worked with many multinational clients in a variety of
industries and he is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer on issues
affecting the accounting profession and the US capital markets. |
Igor Shuvalov

First Vice-Prime Minister. From 1995 – director of one of the leading law-firms in Russia – “ALM”. In 1998 he was appointed Deputy to the Minister of Public Property of the Russian Federation. From 1998 till 2000, he held the position of Chairman of the Russian Fund of Federal Property. Since May 18th 2000, he held the position of Head of the RF Government Staff - Minister of the Russian Federation. In June 2003 he became the Aid to President of the Russian Federation. He supervised the work in the field of economic policy, worked over the projects in the sphere of national education, health and housing construction. He served as representative of the Russian Federation in the “G-8”. On May, 12, 2008, Igor Shuvalov was appointed First Vice-Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

Yang Yuanqing

Yuanqing Yang is CEO of Lenovo Group, responsible for

number-one in sales in Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan) and has maintained

valuable brands in China. At the same time, Mr. Yang has also played a
key role in Lenovo’s transformation into a global company. Lenovo’s
acquisition of IBM’s PC business in December 2004 put the company on a
fast track of globalization. Since completing the acquisition, Mr. Yang
has been a key driver of the global integration of the new Lenovo aiming
at bringing out the best of both businesses. With the successful
integration of its global business and culture, Lenovo’s global business
developed soundly and achieved impressive results. At the same time,
Lenovo successfully sponsored the 2006 Torino Games and the 2008 Beijing
Olympic Games as the exclusive IT equipment provider, and was the
first-ever TOP partner of the International Olympic Committee originated
from China. Mr. Yang graduated from the Department of Computer Science
at the University of Science and Technology of China (“USTC”) with a
Master’s degree. He is also a member of the standing committee of the
National Youth Association of China, Director of China's Entrepreneurs’
Association, a guest professor at the University of Science and
Technology of China, and a member of the New York Stock Exchange’s
International Advisory Committee.
