Because SKOLKOVO was created to develop leaders for special, fast-moving economies, we are looking for candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit and a minimum of two or three years of work experience. SKOLKOVO’s special approach to learning and developing our participants, means applicants should not only be people with the desire, passion, imagination and maturity to be able to take best advantage of what the programme has to offer, but also have the business acumen, critical mind and communication skills to contribute to the peer-learning approach.

Our target age group is from 25 to 32 years old, and applicants should demonstrate high academic aptitude with proficiency in English. We also expect our applicants to have excellent analytical and creative abilities, coupled with strong business acumen. In addition, they should have good communication skills as well as cultural awareness and sensitivity.

We are looking for candidates with special characteristics: a strong drive for success, and the open-mindedness and curiosity to seek out where that success can be found in their future; candidates who are willing to lead, but also prepared to follow; candidates with the rare combination of fearlessness and sense to succeed in the rapidly changing economies of tomorrow.

• One video presentation
  Please develop the following topics in your video presentation (not more than 10 – 12 minutes).
  1. What entrepreneurial qualities do you have? Please, provide the most vivid example when you demonstrated your entrepreneurial spirit / entrepreneurial approach to business?
  2. Please, share an example from your professional experience when you have taken big risks. What were your lessons learned?
  3. If you have a business idea that inspires you, please evaluate and describe.
     • The consumer market (its volume and main consumer characteristics), including its size.
     • Main competitors.
     • Your Unique Selling Proposition (USP).
       (Question №3 is optional, but will contribute scores to your application).
  4. Please describe the goals that you plan to achieve through SKOLKOVO education.

Step 3 (Admission day on Campus)

• English test (in the event that TOEFL/IELS results are not provided with the application form. Minimum TOEFL/IELS requirements can be checked on our web page).

  • Minimal score for TOEFL IBT – 78
  • Minimal score for IELTS – 6.5
