EXECUTIVE EDUCATION PHILOSOPHY |
|
|
The famous Russian scientist and philosopher, Pyotr Kapitsa once said:
“Science must be simple, fascinating and fun. The same applies to the
scientists”. He also liked to quote Henri Poincar – “Science is built
up of facts, as a house is with stones. But a collection of facts is no
more a science, than a heap of stones is a house”. We share fully this
opinion and believe that the hardest and most important thing in education is the ability to convey one’s own life experience and world outlook,
which is by far more valuable than a plain list of formulas or any
textbook material. It is not the memorised formulas that are important,
but a specific view, approach or method applied. This is the underlying
philosophy of the SKOLKOVO Executive Education programmes.
