BUSINESS IN RUSSIA: KEYS TO SUCCESS Print

Programme Focus:

The programme’s main focus is concentrated around key success factors for doing business in Russia and an overview of the existing and potential Russian market. The programme does not provide ready-made decisions, but does give a structured approach to what it takes for a businessman to be successful on the Russian market. We will not be focusing on a specific industry during the event, but we will certainly provide a general overview of the market opportunities in Russia.

Programme Objectives:

The programme will give participants a broad understanding of what it means to do business in Russia and what impact differences in culture, economy, political system and historical traditions might have on business success.

The participants will get a solid knowledge of key issues to success in Russia delivered by experienced faculty, meet with representatives from a wide range of Russian and foreign organisations, government officials and Russian businessmen and exchange their experience and knowledge. The programme director is Elizabeth Sadova, Professor of management and leadership. Her areas of expertise are organizational development, change management, performance and talent management with respect to senior executives.

She has 10 years of experience in developing and delivering comprehensive, long-term Executive Education programmes in management and leadership for such companies as Boeing, Caterpillar, Coca Cola, Danone, Hewlett Packard, Gradient, Unilever, PRODO, Rosneft, TNK-BP, FGC UES, Eksmo and others.

Elizabeth also has a successful record in executive coaching and consulting with Russian and multinational companies in the area of cross-cultural awareness, understanding the business environment, building a strong team, managing conflicts and managing relations.
